It's been a long time since any of you heard from us but we are alive! We're currently sitting in the shade on a borrowed ipad to tell you our trip is going great! After a bit of a rocky start with the airport, which we may elaborate on when we find an actual computer, things are looking way up. We're in the middle of nowhere.. literally a jungle. our cabin is feet from the ocean and everything is green. We're in rainy season but it has been sunny and hot for three days at least. Real hot. Couldn't ask for better weather!
We love the people here and the ministry at Hope. We are excited to see what God has in store for us over the next few months and where our service will be. We will be heading up a new young adults program with one staff here and we ask for prayer. We hope God will use us and break the barriers, especially language so that we can pour out love to them.
Tomorrow we are headed to a city to explore and renew our visas. It is three hours by boat and a lot of driving, but we leave at 3am and should have lots of time. We are staying there for three days and will hopefully get a chance to upload some pictures. Keep checking back!!
